What is STAMPEDE?

Stampede is McNair’s ALL-FAMILY Fall Fundraising CARNIVAL with Games, Food, Silent Auction and the Technology Drive Drawing (Gift Cards, Go-Pro, and iPad Mini Incentive!)

Our goal this year is to raise $16,000. Stampede and the Silent Auction fund things such as Staff Grants, Professional Development, Teacher Hospitality, Scholarships, Technology Needs and much, much more.

McNair PTA hosts Stampede each year in lieu of selling 3rd party products or food. 

 

When and where is STAMPEDE?

When:              Thursday, November 13th

Time:                  6pm – 8pm

How much are TICKETS and where can I buy them?

Wristbands (you MUST have a wristband for most games and to eat)

Wristbands (family of 4)

Wristbands for additional immediate family (over 4 members)

Tech Drive Drawing Entry
$1 each or $10 for 12 or $20 for 25

There are three ways to buy tickets .

• The traditional paper form. That form will go out in Monday Folders on November 3rd.
• In the ticket line at Stampede on November 13th.

How can parents HELP?

1. PTA will need help with donations for games and prizes.  Each POD will host a few of our games.  POD Coordinators will be in touch asking for items needed.
2. During the event, PTA will need parent volunteers to:
   • Check-in periodically on our Game Booths (Pi Beta Phi sorority will help us run our games)
   • Set-Up
   • Ticket Sales
   • Silent Auction Monitoring
   • Watch-Dog Dad Supervision
   • Clean-Up

What kinds of items are featured at SILENT AUCTION?

Our Silent Auction Committee began securing items this summer. Their hard work has paid off. This year’s auction will be amazing!

When you purchase Stampede Tickets, you will be sent a unique bid number via email. You will use your number to bid. This will shorten wait times for checkout and help quickly total your items. (Students will not be allowed to bid at Silent Auction.)

What is the TECHNOLOGY DRIVE?

Last year was our first year for Stampede Technology Drive Drawing. It was a big success. PTA was immediately able to put 10 additional iPads in the hands of students! We are hoping to have a similar impact this year!

How does the TECHNOLOGY Drive work?

This year, the Technology Drive will run November 3rd – November 13th.

Students may ask their community, extended family members, neighbors and friends for donations to support Technology at McNair.

Technology includes things like new computers, software upgrades and new software.

Because there is no overhead with the Technology Drive, 100% of the proceeds go back to McNair. Thanks to generous supporters, all of the incentive student prizes have been donated.

 

 

Technology Drive Incentive for Students:

For each $1 donation,  the student’s name is entered in to a drawing for prizes. Students will have a chance to win various prizes:

Friday Giveaway – $25 Visa Gift Card
Monday Giveaway – $50 Visa Gift Card
Tuesday Giveaway – $100 Visa Gift Card
Wednesday Giveaway – Go Pro Camera
Thursday “Stampede” Giveaway – iPad Mini
